Well, we had a quick overnight visit to Judy’s on Monday for the end of treatment check up. Everything went smoothly….. until we landed at Logan last night.
Here is a picture of me with a State Trooper and his dog Chico. Looks like a nice photo right? I think so. But the reason we had this photo-op is because my scatterbrained mother left our suitcase at the airport Dunkin Donuts and we were about 30 min away before she realized it! In the meantime, the K-9 bomb squad was called in to check out the situation before it was taken to a holding room!
Needless to say she was calmly freaking out! Once she charmed our way out of this one, we were happily and safely back on our way to Gilford where we belong!

Alison – you are a riot! Everything you’ve been thru and still going thru and you can still add humor. I have been reading these messages daily for some time now and I have to say John, Alison, Jesse and family – you are truly an inspiration. Great PIcture John!!!!! I bet your mom is laughing today. it is good to know that airport security is doing their job. I love the dog. they can train them to do so many things. my golden toby is a big goof. but I still love my dog. have a fun day it is sunny and not to hot. that is my kind of day. I think toby will get a bath today…he doesn’t really like it much but he smells nice afterwards!

John – I’m so glad you had a good trip to Judy’s. You had a pretty unique adventure coming home! Your mom is so awesome! Who else could organize this special experience with state cops and security dogs for you? Have a great weekend! This is the best time in world to be in New Hampshire (except of course for the fall and the winter!)
