GOOD NEWS!

Hi Friends,
We have landed in Boston after three days in Memphis, glad to be home!

I had a MRI yesterday. My Doctors take pictures of my brain every eight weeks to make sure my medicine is working. It is!  The imaging revealed that the tumor is a little smaller than it was in September and much smaller than when I arrived at Judy’s in June. This is the best news we could have heard … Boo-Yah!

I really want to thank our friend Pam for coming into Judy’s (on her day off) to say hi.  She follows the blog and knew we were there – A trip to Memphis wouldn’t be the same without seeing Pam!

We had a blast at the Grizzlies game last night, even though the Celtics couldn’t get their first win. Those guys are huge and wicked fast! Sitting court side was so cool, thanks Gorman!

Life lessons from John: Appreciate everyday and if the defense gives you an open shot, take it!

Love you all!

  6. Dear John, Though I follow your progress all the time I have not taken the time to write to you lately. I am so happy for the wonderful report of the shrinking tumor. We will keep praying for all of you and the doctors. We are so thankful for the success of the many fund raisers. Please give my love to Brad and Daryl. Sorry I haven’t seen them this summer. Best wishes to your whole family and keep up the great progress!! We all love you. Lynne Placey
