What a day!

Today was awesome, we went to Boston with our buddy Fish to see the Bruins play the Oilers.

I got to sit right on the B’s bench for pregame warm-ups … These guys are huge and fast – A bunch of the guys said hi and Zdeno Chara even gave me a puck!

Then we went up an elevator all the way to the top of the Garden … our seats were in the Bruins Alumni Box!  We sat right next to John “The Chief” Bucyk and met Willie O’Ree, Eric Healy and Kenny Linseman too … really cool.

The Bruins won 4 – 0 … They fought hard and played a great game.  I was happy they won and I even got in a quick nap in between the 2nd & 3rd periods.  Steve Leach made all this happen for us … we are so thankful for his kindness.  Thank you very much puck hog – It was a day we’ll never forget!

  8. That’s so cool, John!! Someday when you have time maybe you can write Otto a guide to hockey. He doesn’t know anything about it! I bet you are full of knowledge, especially since you’ve been so busy brushing shoulders with the big guys. We love you.

  9. John! When Chara played for Ottawa, I ran into him at the mall near my parents’ house. That guy is HUGE. He must have seemed like a GIANT on skates. So cool, John!
