We made it back from Memphis late last night . . . Although it’s nice to be home, the news from Judy’s is not good.

John had an MRI on Monday and our fears of progression were confirmed by the Doc yesterday.  This tells us that the symptoms we’ve been seeing over the last 6 – 7 weeks are tumor related and will only continue to get worse.

Please know that we plan on filling the upcoming months with nothing but love & joy.  Our main focus is to keep John as comfortable as possible, and to keep life as normal as we can for him and his two little sisters.  We will all get through this together.

We sincerely thank everyone for the thoughts and prayers you have sent our way over the last 9 months  –  We know this love and support will continue and just want you to know that it means the world to us.

All of our love.

The Thompsons

  28. I wish to God I could fly out just to give John, and all of you, hugs. I’m so very sorry you’re facing this road. I too walked through something similar with my precious Jack. You’re doing everything right. Love each moment. Don’t sweat the small stuff and don’t judge yourselves. Also: Know that in every experience there truly is a good reason. We humans are too small-minded to see the bigger picture, but we are smart enough to know it is there. God gave us smart hearts. Indeed, that is where the Spirit resides in us all and connects us all, always. I wish you enormous amounts of courage and strength. It takes strength to feel it all.
    Love you very much,
Janet from Jack’s Angels in California
