Last Friday, we drove up to Montreal and proudly presented Dr. Jane Pappas with a check for $100,000 on behalf of The Cure Starts Now Foundation and the DIPG Collaborative.

Dr. Jane Pappas works in conjunction with Jewish General Hospital and our Medical Advisory Board approved her grant to research genetic and epigenetic profiling within DIPG cells in vitro.  We were excited to have the opportunity to present Jane with this check, she was certainly surprised, thankful and emotional.  It’s fulfilling to see this money going to the right spots  —  Our collective efforts are making a difference and we’d like to say thank you to everyone who has supported and continues to support this worthy cause.
