Upcoming Events

Thank you for all the support and positive vibes!

Jesse, Alison and the rest of the Thompson/Hesko family are deeply humbled by the outpouring of support by friends, family, colleagues and community members.   Every JBT event has offered the opportunity to bring friends & family together; we Thank You for the memories.   The money raised at all events have help raise awareness and DIPG research funds for the Cure Starts Now Foundation

We have a select few events throughout the year.  Please check our Homepage Blog for information on upcoming events.

THE CURE STARTS NOW: Strength & Hope for JBT

The Thompson and Hesko families, along with many others  within the community, came together on October 26th, 2013 at Gunstock Mountain Resort for an evening in honor of John Bradley.   It was an amazing and memorable evening filled with spirit and hope.  The families want to thank everyone that played a role in making this event so incredible.   A special thanks goes to all our volunteers who gave so much time and energy, starting in late August as the planning began up to the early hours of Sunday October 27th.  We are so appreciative to all of you, words can not express what your caring means to us.

A huge thanks goes to Keith and Brook Desserich co-founders of The Cure Starts Now, for traveling so far and allowing us to greet you with huge hugs and open hearts.   We are so proud to be able to join you on your mission to find the homerun cure.

For any specific information about this event, please contact the event coordinator and one of John’s favorite Aunts, Becky Doherty at beckyt1976@yahoo.com, 603-498-7957.  P.S. Great job Beck, this evening would not have been so remarkable without your guidance and leadership.

  1. This Just In….
Tonight, July 31st, 5PM at JBT’s house, 20 Bickford Rd Gilford, volunteers will gather with rakes in hand to prep the wooded front yard areas for seeding. An incredible story of in-kind support for the Thompsons, Chris Keenan of Lawnworks Landscaping cleared, rough graded & loamed shady areas in front of the house removing an enormous amount of trees, stumps, stone & brush. Keenan’s final (rough) grading will be finished this morning. Hayden McLaughlin’s Belknap Landscape Co is set to follow tonight with special equipment for final grading, assisted by a gang of volunteer rakers. In an astonishing development, Bruce Tibbets of Liquid Lawn Hydroseeding is donating the seeding, called hydromulching, for the entire area, estimated to be about 8000 square feet! After the lawn germinates, McLaughlin set up follow-up turf care services including lime applications and fertilizations. Neat!
